November is going to be a very busy month for Garth Brooks: In addition to the release of his The Ultimate Collection box set and holiday duets record with wife Trisha Yearwood, both on Nov. 11, the country superstar will release his 11th studio album at the end of the month.

Gunslinger, Brooks' new record, is set for release on Nov. 25; the singer first shared the album's title during Saturday's (Oct. 15) SEC Game of the Week on CBS, and revealed its release date and album cover during Monday night's (Oct. 17) Inside Studio G Facebook Live chat.

"The album title came to me when somebody asked me what my favorite thing about being on the road was. I said, 'It just feels good to be out there being a gunslinger again. Just aiming with the heart and shooting from the hip, that's what you do on the stage, right? ... You’re a gunslinger out there. And each show’s different, and you just shoot from the hip all night long,'" Brooks explains. "As soon I said it, I knew that was the album title right there."

Brooks released Gunslinger's first single, "Baby, Let's Lay Down and Dance" on Thursday (Oct. 13). On Monday, the song debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and is the week's most-added song at country radio, a press release reports.

A track listing has yet to be announced for Gunslinger; Brooks did, however, tell Taste of Country that late songwriter Kim Williams has three songs on the new project. Other songs on the record, according to Brooks, include "Pure Adrenaline" and "Whiskey to Wine;" the former, written by Brooks and Gordon Kennedy, is being used as the SEC on CBS theme song in 2016, while the latter, Brooks performed at his recent Ryman concert.

Those who purchase The Ultimate Collection will get to hear Gunslinger a couple of weeks early. The new box set will include nine discs of music from Brooks’ catalog, as well as some previously unreleased songs, and the 10th disc will be an exclusive version of Brooks’ new album, featuring Target-only bonus tracks.

Brooks is currently on the road for his World Tour.
