Garth Brooks Concert Reminders

Information from Wells Fargo Arena regarding the Garth Brooks concerts this weekend.

SHOW TIME:

7:00 PM (There will be no opening act. Garth will take the stage at 7:00 PM)

ENTRANCE:

Fans may enter through any of the three entrances to Wells Fargo Arena. The Ticket Office is located at the South Entrance at the corner of Third and Center. No re-entry is permitted. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow extra time for security procedures.

TICKETS:

Fans are encouraged to pick up will call tickets in advance of the show date. The Wells Fargo Arena ticket office is open from 10 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. On show day, the box office will remain open until after the 10:30 pm show starts.

MOBILE DELIVERY TICKET INFO:

Guests who have purchased Mobile Delivery tickets will need to make sure their entire party enters at the same time, as all tickets are sent in one pdf file. Mobile pdf files must be read from a mobile phone, they cannot be printed on paper.

PARKING INFO:

Carpooling is highly encouraged. In addition to the Iowa Events Center parking lot and surrounding parking garages, we encourage people to park at the Iowa State Capitol Complex, which is providing parking for free to Garth Brooks concert attendees. The Capitol Complex parking lots will open at 5:00 pm for concert attendees and DART will be extending their D-Line route on Friday and Saturday to shuttle patrons to the Arena and back after the show. CAMERA POLICY:

Professional cameras, cameras with detachable lenses, iPads, tablets, camcorder/GoPro recording devices and selfie sticks are prohibited.

BAG POLICY:

All bags are subject to search upon entering the arena. Backpacks are prohibited. Purses/bags can be no larger than 13" x 15" x 6." Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted and subject to search.

SECURITY POLICY:

ALL patrons are required to pass through a security wand when entering the venue. To make the process as quick and smooth as possible, please visit a staging area starting at 9:00 pm. Please unzip jackets and remove items from your pockets as you enter the building. Guests should leave all prohibited items in their car or home. FOOD/BEVERAGE:

A full menu of food and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage selections will be available inside Wells Fargo Arena. Patrons are NOT allowed to bring outside food/beverage into the arena. Stop by the Hula Hut outside Section 112 for a Pina Colada Yard for $12.

The Principal River’s Edge Restaurant will open at 5:30 pm and will be serving a buffet dinner. The restaurant is open to all ticket holders, and reservations are recommended. To check availability and make your reservation, call (515) 564-8787.

EXITING:

All patrons will be asked to exit Wells Fargo Arena immediately following the conclusion of this show in order to allow for preparations for the second show. Guests can exit through stairwells onto Second and Third Streets and through the three entrances to the facility (north, south, skywalk).
