Free Girl Scout Cookies

Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois received a surprise phone call that kicked off the start of cookie season in style.

An anonymous donor from Dubuque purchased 500 boxes of cookies. The donor requested that the local Girl Scout group “pay it forward” by donating the cookies to organizations in the greater Dubuque area.  It has yet to be determined precisely when or where the snacks will be delivered,
