Dolly Parton's slate of contributions to the soundtrack for the upcoming Netflix movie Dumplin' is full of surprises—it has newly recorded collaborations of some of her biggest hits, as well as six new original songs. One of the most striking of these is a stripped-down, strings-only version of one of her most iconic songs, 1973's "Jolene."

"Jolene's been on the prowl a long time," tweeted Parton of the new version, "But she just got a makeover and I couldn't be more excited to share the new string version with y'all!"

The rich orchestration and Parton's slower vocals on this particular rendition give the tune an entirely different, haunting feel—adding an almost ominous edge to the famous theme of a woman pleading to save her love. Fans can listen above to get the full effect of the newly styled classic.

Other highlights on the soundtrack, which was co-produced by Parton and Linda Perry, are a duet with pop star Sia ("Here I Am") plus appearances by guest vocalists include Miranda Lambert, Mavis Staples, Elle KingAlison Krauss, and Rhonda Vincent.

Dumplin’, which stars Danielle Macdonald and Jennifer Aniston (who also appear on the soundtrack) will premiere on Netflix Dec. 7. The soundtrack drops Nov. 30.
