Ken Peiffer

I was born and raised in the area(Cascade, IA).  Been involved in radio since 1983 and have worked for WJOD since 1988.  Happily married to my wife Shari since 1986(you'll have to ask her if she agrees).  We have 4 children, 2 boys & 2 girls, all still living at home.   I like to talk(go figure) and have even been known to talk in my sleep(you know what they say practice makes perfect).   I love going to country concerts and have been lucky enough to have met a ton a country artists including Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, & Rascal Flatts.  Best part of my job is everyday is different.  You never know from one day to the next what's going to happen.  I have a great sense of humor and  enjoy entertaining people. I also enjoy golf, football(watching not playing), and an occassional cold beverage.   I'd tell you my favorite book but to be honest I haven't read one in a long time(my apologies to my high school English teachers).
