Chris Stapleton has joined the lineup of performers for the 12th annual ACM Honors ceremony. Held at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, the event recognizes special honorees and category winners whose awards presentations happen off-camera at the ACM Awards. In addition to Stapleton, Lauren AlainaKassi AshtonCamDeana CarterMorgan EvansDustin LynchAshley McBrydeOld Crow Medicine Show and Jon Pardi are all scheduled to perform, along with songwriters Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip. Pardi and Alaina will co-host the event, which is set for Aug. 22.

Kix Brooks is raising money to preserve a nearly 100-year-old historic theater in his home state of Louisiana. According to Nash Country Daily, Brooks is planning the Kickin' It With Kix fundraiser, a two-day event seeking to raise enough funds to save the Princess Theatre in Winnsboro, La. In addition to a performance at the Princess, Brooks will also host a dinner featuring his own Arrington Vineyards wines and a live auction selling off items such as a meet and greet with Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn in Las Vegas, Nev. Tickets for the events, scheduled for Sept. 28-29, are on sale now.

This fall, the bluegrass band Earls of Leicester will release their first live album. Titled Earls of Leicester Live at the CMA Theater in the Country Music Hall of Fame, the album will feature more than 25 songs, all recorded over two nights of performances of at the iconic Nashville venue. The album will be released on Sept. 28, and there are plans for a double-LP vinyl release in October.

Bobby Bare is planning his first-ever podcast. According to MusicRow, the new show, titled Bobby Bare and Friends, will be available via podcast networks and Nashville-area station WSM's website. The podcast will be released twice per month; it will feature Bare chatting with and interviewing various artists. The show premiered on Aug. 1 at 3PM CT, with Jamey Johnson as Bare's first guest.
