The Country Music Hall of Fame is slated to dedicate an entire exhibit to Charlie Daniels that will feature memorabilia from his life and career, as well as dive in to his impact on the entertainment world.

The exhibition, titled Charlie Daniels: Million Mile Reflectionswill open on Sept. 23, 2016 and run through March 2017.

“I can’t even articulate how honored I am by this exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum," Daniels says in a press release. "I couldn’t think of a better name myself unless it would be Five Million Mile Reflections."

The inside look into his life and career will contain musical instruments, stage wear, manuscripts, awards, childhood mementos and previously unpublished photographs from Daniels’ personal collection.

This honor comes at an appropriate time for Daniels who is slated to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this coming October.

“There’s no way to work towards this goal,” the country legend said this past March when he learned of his induction. “I can’t think of a bigger honor to be given to anybody who loves country music. this is the cherry on top of the icing. I’m very humbled to think about the shoulders I stand on and the artists who blazed a trail on millions of miles of two-lane blacktop.”

This year is turning out to be a remarkable trip around the sun for Daniels. In addition to the installment of his exhibit and induction into the Hall of Fame, Daniels will be celebrating his 80th birthday in correlation with his annual Volunteer Jam, which will be held on Nov. 30.
