During the lightning delay of LoCash's concert Saturday night at Q Casino, I accidently ran into Chris Lucas of LoCash backstage.  As the rain started falling harder Chris invited me on the bus to stay dry.  Little did I know what was about to happen.  After chatting with Chris I found out we had quite a bit in common.  We're both big fans of Florida Georgia line, we're both Baltimore Orioles' fans, and between us we have 2 number one country songs!  Eventually Preston Brust also of LoCash and the rest of the band joined us on the bus.  About the same time the tour manager got on the bus to inform LoCash that the lighting hadn't stopped and due to time constraints they were not going to be able to go back on stage.  Chris was visibly disappointed because he really wanted to finish the show for the fans.  He also wanted to play another one of their new songs.  The next thing I know he convinced the band to do an importu performance of the song right there on the tour bus.  By the time I was able to get my phone out I missed part of the song...but the rest can be seen and heard here.  My apologies for the quality of the video...but it's still pretty cool.

Shorty after I shot this video my phone went dead which is a shame because they played a bunch of songs and were eventually joined by Cale Dodds(the night's opening act) and Kip Moore.  It was crazy!  I know what happens on the bus stays on the bus, but I really wish I could share more with you.  After more than 30 years in radio, Saturday will forever be one of my favorite memories.   Please share your thoughts on Saturday nights show.  And thanks to everyone who waited out the storm.  The concert had a record attendance thanks to your support.  Hope to see again soon the Back Waters Stage at Q Casino.
