A little stage fright ain't nothin' compared to watching your husband compete for the Stanley Cup, says Carrie Underwood. The country superstar chatted with NBC's intermission panel during Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night (June 6), covering everything from her own game-day nerves to Nashville's fans.

Underwood admits that she gets more nervous about her husband, Nashville Predators team captain Mike Fisher, and his performance on the ice than she does before her own concerts. However, she's not too concerned about him engaging in a hockey fight or two.

"I'm way more nervous for him than I would ever be for myself, for anything ... Playoff hockey is just energetic, it's fast, everybody is just laying it all on the line," Underwood says. "Fighting -- I'm good with it, I'm good with it; it doesn't bother me ... I feel like Mike can handle himself."

Although Fisher turned 37 on June 5, the day of Game 4, Underwood says that her husband's birthday has taken a backseat to hockey this year. They'll celebrate after the Stanley Cup Final series is over -- hopefully with a big victory.

"After all this is done, and we have the Cup, maybe that could just be his birthday party," Underwood says.

In 2017, the Predators are competing in the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in franchise history, and it seems as though everyone in Music City has become a fan of the team. But, Underwood says, Nashville has "always supported the Predators."

"People have been behind this team for years, and it's been so exciting to see everybody come out and show that," Underwood notes. "That's our town: We do music, we do hockey, and we do everything loud."

During Game 4, Underwood had the privilege of meeting hockey legend Wayne Gretzky; she posted a photo to her Instagram account.

The Predators defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final; the series is now tied at two games apiece. Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday (June 8) in Pittsburgh, and the series will return to Nashville for Game 6 on Sunday (June 11).
