Advantages of Working Mornings.

I got to fill in for Tom Brenner this morning on the WJOD Good Morning Rodeo and it was fun.  Not sure I would want to do it everyday but today was good.It got me thinking about the advantages to working mornings at WJOD.  Here are just a few.

1.  No traffic.  Think I only met about a dozen cars on my way to the radio station

2.  Excellent parking.  When you are the first to arrive you get your choice of spots.

3.  Breakfast was still warm. When a co-worker brought in a breakfast snack, I got first dibs(not just what was leftover in the lunchroom)

4.  No wait for the bathroom.  Not that we ever really have a line.  And the cleaning crew was in last night so the bathroom was as clean as it could be this morning.

5. No interruptions.  It was just Jolene and me without people popping into the studio to ask questions every 5 minutes.

Again it was fun this morning.  I'm off Friday but will gladly return to my afternoon show on Monday at 3.  Enjoy your weekend.
