Just about a week after tickets went on sale, the 2016 FarmBorough Festival has been canceled. The event's organizers announced the news in a Facebook post on Monday (Feb. 8).

"All of us here at FarmBorough Festival appreciate the support we have received, but conditions dictate that we redirect our energy at this time," the statement reads. "We appreciate the opportunity you afforded us to present FarmBorough in New York City, and apologize for any inconvenience."

According to the note, ferry and festival passes will be refunded through the point of purchase beginning on Tuesday (Feb. 9). More information about refunds is available on the festival’s website.
